So there was this Roaster with semi-mediocre Bollywood stars in Mumbai.
And now everyone buzzing on use of abusive language in the act.
Nearly thousands of people bought Rs. 4,000/- ticket for at and all money went to charity.
Still some people feel it uncultured. They are blaming westernisation.
Westernisation is trend of copying west. They say roaster are basically started in New York and hence not our culture. They wanted a police case to be filled for the same. They want to see some action taken.
Ironically the law under which they wanted the action be taken is itself westernised. It is British Colonial law made in pre independent India.

We Indian has always been using abusive language in daily walk of our lives. "Sala" which literally means "brother in law" is a most commonly used word to address friends. I never heard such cry over this word. The whole idea of not addressing someone with abusive word is westernise. That's why they specially had to invent roaster. We Indians does it on regular basis. So there is no special need for roaster. Were Gay jokes on Karan Johar or Jokes on Anushka and Virat new? Something unheard off? This has all ready been there out in open. We shared such jokes in the era of sms. It has a decade long tradition.

Moreover the political party whose sole leader is know for use of his abusive language is opposing this Knockout. Never again hypocrisy will see such heights. If these people are really offended by the use of language, they should attend few speeches of their leader. They will abandon the party at once.

As I see it, this is nothing but clash of western cultures on Indian soil. The clash of British culture vs. American.
We Indians are better of using our own galli.
